Guest guest
The body needs energy. The body usually utilizs carbs for energy, but can be enticed to use coconut oil for energy. Simply cutting out most carbs, the body engages in catabolic degrgation of protein and other chemiclas to make carbs and that makes for muscle wasting and still raises blood sugar. If the body gets used to coconut oil, there is no muscle wasting and no increased blood glucose if one eats minimal carbs. I started with low intake of coconut oil (2 tablepoons a day) and am now I am up to ~1 gallon every 4 or 5 weeks. May or may not be good if you use diabetic drugs or insulin. I use neither.
