Guest guest
Great thoughts here: was it the father of modern medicine, Hippocrates, who said, " let your food be your medicine " ?  How about the quality of our food?... do you think it is the same as it was 20 yrs ago? The issue to be considered is that our soils have been depleted by use / over use of petrol based fertilizers...so the food that we eat is of less nutritional quality...organic / biodynamic farming methods that seek to build up soil can over time make it much better.... but then there are contrails messing w/ the ph of the soil as well... so it would seem we do need to supplement w/ vitamins and minerals as well as herbal tinctures which are 'foods' of a sort... d > > If you believe you need supplements you will find evidence for that > belief. Guest guest
I believe in Hippocrates's quote. And that has been true, in large part, for me. But what will stop my hair loss and what will kill the last three parasites in my gut that I have felt for two years. My newest attempts since July were my discovery of coconut oil, diatomaceous earth. I have passed more (undetected) parasites with these. I just can't get rid of the three I have felt and have been fighting with food and alkalized water. My thinking is that my hair loss is controlled by those three in my gut. I don't have any other symptoms of hypo-thyroidism or menopause. I do not take pharmaceudical drugs. I am too young to be losing my hair. ________________________________ From: Don <hooty304@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Wed, December 1, 2010 1:04:44 PM Subject: Re: Re: supplements / good foods  Great thoughts here: was it the father of modern medicine, Hippocrates, who said, " let your food be your medicine " ?  How about the quality of our food?... do you think it is the same as it was 20 yrs ago? Guest guest
For the parasites, I suggest a Beck device, the Scada RSG-2 and his zapper. If you do not know about Dr. Beck, watch his videos on You Tube... great man. On 12/1/2010 10:08 PM, Lyn K wrote: > > I believe in Hippocrates's quote. Guest guest
I have tried Hilda 's zapper. It had no effect. Is Mr. Beck's  zapper the same thing? I feel I need a POISON that will kill them but not kill me. They are big, that is why I can feel them. I do not feel them like I did at the start as I have seen great detoxification results to all my efforts and my gut is cleaned out. Thankfully, I feel them alot less. But they are undaunted by my clean diet, alkalized water, coconut oil, diatomaceous earth and all my other efforts in two years. ________________________________ From: Jim <huuman60@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Thu, December 2, 2010 8:34:14 AM Subject: Re: Re: supplements / good foods  For the parasites, I suggest a Beck device, the Scada RSG-2 and his zapper. Guest guest
One such deterrent has been mentioned: pumpkin seeds...parasites can be tough to deal with and do require persistence.  They love sugar and refined carbs.   There is a full moon cleanse just for parasites that includes eating honey and then following up w/ an herbal combination formula specifically for parasites... for more info email me off list... I am reluctant to just put out there the herbs in the formula as it is very important that the best herbs are used...and imho herb pharm is not the best tho it is all thru the whole foods market...I have tasted the same herb of one company and the herb pharm company and imho there is no comparison...  It all begins w/ excellent raw materials and a company committed to substantial integrity.  It is important that herbal tinctures not be watered down as well or diluted by more alcohol. d > > > > > > If you believe you need supplements you will find evidence for that > > > belief. Guest guest
Functional Medicine approach would have you get a stool test to determine exactly what parasite(s) you are dealing with. Then they will suggest drugs or herbs to deal specifically with that parasite. This can be costly. However, here are some strategies. Eat a whole onion like an apple. In short order you will expel worms. The next day do a sea salt intestinal flush according to Ayurvedic Medicine which also requires a series of 5 yogic exercises to move the salt water through the intestines. Then for several days in a row do a liver flush involving 1 cup of lime juice, 2 egg yolks, and 2T of olive oil. If you decide to do a colonic remember to recolonize the colon with probiotics; www.myrealhealth.com Then get on an enzyme rich live food program. Guest guest
There are several parasite combination formulas available. the ingredients include, but are not limited to ( depending on the formula) black walnut hull, cloves, amargosa, and olive leaf. the taste is not usually pleasing to folks...but it is about the action not the taste... good to take it in the am on an empty somache...its good to 'get' the parasites...not so good tasting first thing in the am...and then best to do no food for an hour and 1/2...then again 2 more times a day in between meals... best is for two weeks then a week off and start again to catch any that wiggled thru on their life cycle or eggs that hatched out and came alive... Its important to know that parasites are everywhere...walking barefoot on the soil can infect you w/ them as well as sleeping w/ pets...kissing pets...and gardening... I was not so aware of that gardening aspect until more recent years...and so it is important to wear gloves and to do a parasite cleanse on a regular basis like 2 to 4 times a year depending on potential for infection.  I enjoy sushi on a regular basis...so that is another potential source as the consumer cannot be sure the fish was handled differently. Yes, it is sort of gross to think about, but parasites can cause a multitude of puzzling symptoms... hope this helps, if you are looking to obtain some let me know... the company is www.goodherbs.com with a member number you can get them at wholesale prices #7806 should work for that. d From: mromargarcia <mromargarcia@...> Subject: Re: supplements / good foods Coconut Oil Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010, 2:44 PM  Probably a few of use would like to know your recommendations. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ...good vs bad and right vs wrong > > > > > > > > creates an inner and outer war. ...Eating according to nature will > > > > > > > take you > > > > > > > > towards your natural divinity.  To increase quality of life and > > > > > > > longevity you > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > must have low blood fasting glucose (70-85) and insulin levels (below > > > > > > > >3.0) and > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > have a high VO2 Max lung capacity with oxygen uptake into your > > > > > > > cells.  If you > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > really would like to increase glutithione levels do a coffee enema > > > > > > > each day > > > > > > > > and/or eat raw meat, dairy and eggs. Fermented raw dairy > > > > > > > especially goat > > > > > > > >milk > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > dairy has the highesst biological value of glutithione, > > > > > > > immunoglobulins, > > > > > > > > minerals, etc...not to mention it does grow on trees and you will be > > > > > > > living > > > > > > > >from > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > the tree of life. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
If you know a friendly Veterinarian, you can get a stool sample checked for parasites for a lot less than doctors charge.. It is a simple procedure for anyone who has the right equipment. I learned how to do it in junior college in parasitology class. . Guest guest
My training is ~47 years out of date. Best find a Veterinarian first, then ask him or her. Guest guest
Hello Don, Glad to find a fellow yogi. I am positive you have done both many, many times, especially Pawanmuktasana. Here is how you do Pawanmuktasana (Wind Relieving): 1. Start in Shavasana. 2. Bend your left leg and grip it with both the hands. 3. Interlock your fingers and press your thigh against the abdomen. 4. Breathe deeply (at least five breaths). 5. Come back to Shavasana. 6. Now repeat the same process on right side. 7. Then with both the legs bent, press your thighs hard against the abdomen. 8. Breathe deeply (at least five breaths). 9. Come back, make straight your legs and relax. And Shalabasana (Locust), a yoga baby backbend in the prone position: 1. Lie on your stomach.2. Interlace your fingers behind your back. 3. Bend your arms, drawing your elbows together. 4. On an inhale, draw your torso up off the floor as you straighten your arms behind you. 5. Press the tops of your feet into the floor. 6. Come down and rest on one cheek. Advanced: When you lift your torso, simultaneously lift your legs off the floor, keeping them straight. Namaste, Theta " Yoga is known as the disconnection of the connection with suffering. " - The Bhagavad Gita Wow...how yoga must be regional or something... Have been practicing for 5 years and never hear of the locust...or wind relieving...have had like 20 different instructors too...interesting...are you aware of any other names for these? d
