For me, the answer is many faceted. Start with good nutrition. No junk

food, minimal carbs, no trans-fats, get at least 8 hours of sleep every

night, no caffeine. Coconut oil can feed the breain the same way glucose

can. Coconut oil can (at least partially) reverse Alzheimer's. Next are

the supplements. Each of us has our own weak points, so I probably take

supplements you won't need, and you may need supplements I never heard of.

I am 65 and my kind is sharper now than it was when I was 30.

Greetings Fans Of The Oil,

I started a new job which I like because it is an integral element of the

operations for this company. Part of my responsibilities entails hours of

detailed data entry. However, I get groggy after 10 minutes. it seems my 55

year old brain cant sustain the focus I need. I usually do better when I can

move about. I notice that the other folk here dont have this problem. They

seem to stay clear headed and focused for quite a while.

Has any one had a similar problem remaining clear headed. I don't want to

use caffeine as a solution.

How do I remedy the grogginess?

Alobar and Bonnie,

I will increase my Coconut Oil intake from 2 table spoons per day to 4 and

my Vit D intake as well.

Of course as you have said this issue is multi-faceted.

, my advice to you is to ADD a Whey Protein shake that you could have

each morning, in place of breakfast and in it, you can put all kinds of

YUMMY fruits and other powdered supplements like Probiotics for intestinal

balance, Calcium, powdered Vitamin C. OH, I just realized you might need

an Adrenal boost as the Adrenals are what give us Energy starting first

thing in the morning (to get us up) and less and less for the rest of the

day and then lowest at bedtime. The Adrenal Glands use MORE Vitamin C than

any other gland in the body and you could take this to bowel tolerance.

Bonnie

PS And people with FATIGUE must NEVER use Caffeine, it just tires the

Adrenals and makes them work less and less and the fatigue just gradually

gets worse. We can add more things to your shake as we hear back from you

If you choose to take coconut oil, do it slowly. Start with 1/8-1/4 tsp

everyday for a week. Increase every week by doubling amount you last took until

you reach 3 tbsps. per day. This will method will prevent you from having side

effects, normally diarrhea.

Bonnie,

You must be peeking into my food cupboard. I had slacked up on the whey

protein smoothies in the morning for the last two month or so as my schedule

had changed. I also have the powdered vitamin C. I used to take 5 grams of

C per day 35 years ago; back when i was a young health food nut as we were

called back then. I am on it!

Thanks

Pregnenolone lecithin and cod liver oil would probably do it for a lot of

people. Hydergine and other nootropic supplements increase blood flow and oxygen

to the brain. An anti-aging program would hit all those bases probably without

the nootropics.

If all else fails, maybe amphetamine is legal or available as a prescription

where you live. Not only is it the safest drug ever invented, it increases

focus, energy and motivation. The military I'm sure eats most of it.

all good,

I note that you left out the calcium. In my opinion, that is the right thing to

do.

, that sure didn't take long. Once a person has the foundation of what

nutrition is all about, then it's easy to tell them, 'something' and they

totally get it.

Now that the LIGHT BULB CAME ON, and you now know that The Adrenals need A

LOT of Vitamin C - (when it gives you loose BM's, just cut back 25%) and

that is your OPTIMUM TOLERABLE DAILY LEVEL that you must stay with.

I'm sure everyone would love to hear HOW that helps you.

I assume that is a mis-typing. 4 tbsp = ~2 ounces = 56 grams. That

is a lot of C.

Hi ,

Do you know if you are anemic ? I was falling asleep at the computer recently,

when I had a blood test for something else I was short of Iron. I have taken a

tablespoon full of Organic Blackstrap Molasses every day for a couple of weeks

and that seems to have solved the problem.

Hope this helps

Alobar,

:o) No. The measurement is of the amount of Coconut oil taken not of

Vitamin C
