Guest guest
If your knee will be the DePuy Rotating Platform knee, then you will love it. My husband had both knees replaced with this type of knee and all the PT people were amazed that he had such good flexion and extension from the get-go. It was, and still is painful, of course, but the natural way it lets your knee move is great. Highly recommended. -- Anne > > I have just scheduled my left knee replacement for 7/11/07. Guest guest
Sally, I just want to add that the pain my husband has now (two months out from his second surgery) is the soft tissue around the knee. He is pretty active so the soreness is natural from the healing. He is very glad he had the surgery done. As you said, he knew it was time and he is looking forward to an active life ahead without the pain he had before. You will be glad, too. Anne > > Anne > Thanks so much for the feedback. Lots of work in PT but after about 5 - 6 weeks, really noticed a big improvement and just keeps getting better and better! See what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
I had a tkr on Jan 15 and had this knee installed. I can't compare to any other surgeries as this was my first. I am doing just fine. I walk 2.5 miles every day. I can squat to work in the garden. Very happy with the knee. Sandy > > I have just scheduled my left knee replacement for 7/11/07. OS uses > Depuy lcs (rotating knee). Guest guest
Hi The LCS knee is the most extensively studied knee replacement in the market. It is perhaps the most successful knee design in the history of knee replacement sugery. To add on to this knee though, do ask for Computer Navigation is possible. This reduces the blood loss and enhances surgical accuracy tremendously. Regards Ameet Pispati DR.
