I just finished watching the season opener for " The Amazing Race " and I am

wondering how Charla holds up physically. The website says she

does travel a lot already.. so I'm sure she is used to much of the walking...

but just her strength and perserverance is amazing. I think I'm all

worn out and achy just watching her run all over. Of all of the reality tv

shows, this however, would be one I'd consider if I thought I could

physically handle it.

I wouldn't hold your breath, something last night tells me they aren't

going to be on to many more episodes, for they lag behind, both are

physically challenged. As last night showed, Charla isn't fast when it comes

to running, and Mirna has no upper body strengths. If you've watched the

past shows, it's mostly running, and carrying heavy objects. So from

watching last nights show, I don't give them much of a chance, because out

of the 11 teams, they came in 8th at the end of the show, and truthfully,

they lucked out even at that placement. Sorry, I'm a achon, and believe me,

I would love to see them win, but they don't stand much of a chance to stay

on the show much longer, believe me, they don't stand a chance. I give them

four more episodes, and I'm being optimistic.

I don't know where you came up with that they came in 8th..they

actually they came in 5th out of 11 and I think that is pretty darn

good. I don't know how well they will do but I'm going to root them on

the whole time they are there.

Nice way to support your fellow LP's, Rob. With all due respect,

You got your facts wrong. Charla and her cousin came in 5th place

on Tues. Not 8th. I remember this, because they were upset that

they didn't have 3rd place. At one time during the show, they were

in 1st place. I know this, because everyone else kept saying, " How

did they get ahead of us " ?

I've known Charla for years, and know that she is smart enough to

figure out how to win this thing. Every read the story " The

Tortoise and the Hare " ? Who wins?

Never under estimate the powers of an LP. I realize you are one, so

you should be thinking this yourself. I believe they have just as

good a chance as everyone else on the show. If they were so slow

and 'physically challenged' they would of been out the first episode.

I'm happy for both of them, wish them well, and when they win the

big loot at the end of all this, I hope Charla remembers I'm a

friend of hers... (Kidding of course)
