Guest guest
My husband and I want to say a huge and sincere THANK YOU to all who responded to my inital message. I have shed alot of quiet tears over the last few weeks and reading all the words of wisdom and guidence, words of comfort and presence moved us both! Even writing this, I can't help but tear up. In one of the messages to us, the writer wrote bascially that everything I decribes sounds perefectly normal. Those are monumentous words. In pregnancy and child birth, prior to this uneventful was normal. I now know this pregnancy and baby is normal also. Normal for me is different than for the general population. Grandpa Thank You!! I am looking forward to finding out more about POLP and contacting LPA for someone in my state, Michigan. We are close to the Ohio border and have been seeing a maternal and fetal medicine doctor at Oakwood Hospital. We have so far met with two of the Peri's and the Genetist. They have all been great, but we need that parental-family connection. I am excited about the birth of Knoah. ( Ironic we chose his name as we did, to us it represented a new chance in life, a chance to begin again. We have hard a hard year and our little surprise was a fresh start. Knoah, you sure know how to make life interesting! ) I am so grateful to have found this site and kind people like yourselfs. I know in time, I will become comfortable in my new role as a parent of a little person and will stress alot less. Which at this point I am hoping is soon because I have been taking alot of deep breaths and am getting liteheaded. I am going to visit all the sites given to me and check out all the information so we can be as well informed as possible. Also will be sending individual emails to all addressing questions posed to us. Hugs to you all, Thank You!! Tonya and
