He is doing just fine, an active member of LPA, and a college student at a very prestigious university. I will not reveal more to protect his confidentiality. I'm sure if he feels like responding, he will. Not to be critical, but I found this email very odd. I'm glad you liked the movie, but let's remember that actors are human too. Just because someone dies in a movie doesn't mean that they died in real life. And just because someone is short doesn't mean they have a short life span. Guest guest Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 I think I have been politely ask to stop posting on this board because of the questions I ask about the movie " Simon Birch " As I stated in my first message, the topic of sad movies was a topic on another board I am on.. One of the ladies posted the following message about the movie " simon birch " . I loved the movie 'simon birch' like many have mentioned already..I wounder how the actor who played simon is doing.. not sure if he is still alive or not...and I can't remember his name. Then one of the guys posted: I am fairly certain that Simon was played by Oliver. I was just trying to answer the lady's question with a little more information by posting the message I did on this list serve, nothing more. If YOU think there was more to it than that, you are wrong. If that is reason to leave the board, I will BUT I have seen worse topics on here than that.
