Guest guest
Hi List! Oh my stars... the other day I went to Toys R Us to find some fun things for Olivia Rasa ( & Suzie Rasa's daughter-- District 6) to do, who had surgery on her legs in Madison just two weeks ago. I was looking for sit down activities for her to help pass the time, and encourage learning. Here comes the good news. My son just had to show me these " fabulous " cars, and on the way to see the cars I walked by these dolls called... " Shorties. " Their logo is... " Tall Is Sooo Last Year! " I was like a kid in a candy shop. They're kind of like dwarf barbie dolls. I bought one for Livi (a/k/a Olivia), O'Connell (Pat and 's daughter) and Alisha . I was embarrassing my son because I was so excited in the store. Sorry Kory! Anyway I'm not going to see and Alisha until next month, so I opened Alisha's because I was so excited. I'm going to go back and buy her another, and I plan on buying the other two in hopes to adopt a daughter in a few year's. No not just because of the doll. lol! Pardon my excitement... I thought I'd share this with everyone because I think the doll's may be a big self-esteem booster for our children. The doll's are called " Shorties! " Oh and another motto on the card's describing them is... " Think Short! " and they're made by Mattel. Sincerely, Have a great summer everybody! -- M. Guest guest
I remember a few years back, someone on this list told about another website where dolls were available: multi racial dolls, dolls with dwarfism, and also with disabilities. I checked it out, it still exists: http://www.peopleofeverystripe.com/ BTW, those 'Shorties' Dolls are adorable! I'd like to order one just for the heck of it, they're cute. I remember when I was a kid, the LP doll then was a 'Liddle Kiddle'. Anyone remember those? I myself had a few 'Kiddle Kologne Dolls', they were scented like flowers! http://www.vintagelane.com/kiddles_dolls.htm http://www.vintagelane.com/kiddles_kolognes.htm http://www.dollsntoys.com/liddle.htm Dawn ...... I walked by these dolls called... " Shorties. " Their logo is... " Tall Is Sooo Last Year! " I was like a kid in a candy shop. They're kind of like dwarf barbie dolls....
