Guest guest
I've heard of a Dr. (from London) that's really famous and also infamously hard to get ahold of. Try calling and asking to speak with him directly to tell him about your case. Aside from that I would just recommend the FFC center -joey

Laurie Marti MD 12000 NE 8th St Suite 207 Bellevue, WA 98005 425 232-1965 http://lauriemartimd.com seems to be down at the moment Dr. is located in Portland, OR and not in Seattle, WA Dr. is retired from patient care, but continues to be actively involved in research at OHSU http://www.myalgia.com/OFF_info/RB_Bio.htm -- Portland, OR
Guest guest
I would highly recomment the FFC . In 2 years time I " m back on my feet, and have recently begun walking...laps in my house because winter in MI is cold, snowy etc. But even that tiny little bit of activity I am happy to report, is enough to fix the last remaining symptom of sleep issues. Not getting sleepy , not being able to fall asleep till midnight, more often 2 or 3. Awake at 6 and not going back to sleep. I've walked all week. Bedtime has been before 11, last night 9. Sleep all night. Waken refreshed at 6 or so. And FFC set me on the path to recovery I believe. I can't say enough about my FFC dr. Thanks, Penni Fibro and Fatigue Centers. They remain controversial. Some people say they are helped by them other says they're lost thousands of dollars and gained nothing. I live around the corner of one, and still I haven't been there. I'm very very weary of centers and dr.'s who claim they can 'cure' you if you only buy their very expensive supplements. They do not take any insurance, they bill you and you have to take care of the insurance part. I called mine, we have a very good package called Cigna Open Access which basically means I can go anywhere to get treatment as long as they are affiliated with Cigna. Unfortunately even though The FFC in Portland is attracting a lot of people they are not affiliated with any insurance company. Which for me means I have to pay a substantial part out of my pocket and no reimbursement for medications or supplements. What would be workable for me is to go through their testing program and get their recommendations, what doesn't work for me is buy endless supplies of their supplements and medications that are normally reimbursed by my insurance.
