Re: precuations when my son has achon

Hello,

I know that when I got pregnant for my daughter they sent me to a

geneticist (they did the same with my six year old son, he is not dwarf). I then

started to go to get an 3-D Ultra sound done every four weeks as Son as I was in

my 20th week. They measured her arms, legs, head, chest, and ect. We found out

when I was 28 weeks that my daughter had achon. same as her father. We took it

from there but it was nice to know ahead of time to prepare emotionally. So when

my daughter was born they had a pediatrician standing by in the delivery room

and make sure that she slept on her stomach not her side, and such. It was such

a pleasant experience and I am so glad we found out so early. I think early

detection in the best rough to go and not only can you prepare but things go a

lot more smoother. Any who, if you want a more in depth message on exactly what

they did then just shoot a message my way. Oh, and my husband has normal parents

and two normal brothers.

If you are of normal height it is highly unlikely that your next child will have

dwarfism unless Dad has dwarfism.

i'm a dwarf but my wife is average

we had our first child 2 years ago and he was not

born with dwarfism....
