But, but, but, I don't understand. We ARE sticking to dwarfism matters. Alyce

is a beautiful dwarf, her wonderful husband IS a dwarf and IS (well, was) a

champion shooter. And, and, and, well yer, even us dwarf folks get ingrown toe

nails. Did I never tell yer about the time I had mine taken off? Remind me,

it's a lovely story.

Aw come on Shonica, loosen up a bit. The list gets very heavy at times, and

none more so than at present with all the politics and back biting going on.

Now and then, we HAVE to have a laugh. I think the only 'stupid stuff' that you

refer to is stupid e-mails complaining about stupid stuff:-))))

This group is a support group which means all kinds of support for us

Dwarves. A lot of us get ingrown toenails. It is the moderators job to

tell us when we get too far off on a tangent and Rose does that quite

nicely, whims is about as subtle as a hammer though lol. We laugh

together, cry together and build bridges to get over problems together.

While I agree with Chass and Fred (don't fall over Fred), perhaps we

shouldn't be too hard on Shonica. The parent's of little people group

(POLP), Adult LPs, or LPA online might be a better option for her if she

wants more " focused " conversations.

Also, Adelaide is running a great group for LPs with chronic pain issues:

Ingrown toenails is just an occurrence. FYI- I am an Achondroplasia dwarf with

an 11 year old Achond dwarf daughter and this condition has not been a joking

matter for my 30 years of life on this earth. All my life I have had people

trying to take advantage of my condition and try to use me for their needs. I

have been through things you may not understand, but that is just me.

But Shonica, what you sadly don't seem to realise is that you are not alone in

all your thirty years of life's experiences.

Every single member of this list has had similar or worse, and for some like the

old farts what I is, that thirty years is tame compared to 62 years of it all.

THAT, that darling, is why this list exists! We've all been there, we have all

experienced it and every single man, woman and child on this list has bought the

dam T-shirt!

live, we want to deal with the serious aspects, but just like any decent menu,

we want a sweet course/pudding course too! So, we have fun! We exploit the

frivolous, we extrapolate every single ounce out of the most stupid things! Toe

nails, and sweet Alyce with her wonderfully fantastic husband , who has

himself been through hell, are all up for jocular activity. BECAUSE, in our

every day lives, yer, like you, we experience hell. Soooo, we grab life by the

balls and we SQUEEZE! Well, maybe the men don't but the women certainly

try:-)))))

So please, before you judge, before you become so ready with your

recriminations; please, please, just, well, just stop and try to accept that we

are, in a sense, your brothers and sisters. AND, as such, we sure do stick

together, even when it seems we are fighting tooth and nail against each

other:-) Cos when WE fight each other, we do it on an even level. When the

world fights us, the balance is all wrong:-)

Here here Fred. Exactly what I was trying to say with my first post to

her. I too am a Achon dwarf whose son also has Dwarfism (they think

Achon as well, cant seem to get a straight answer from them lol).
