aww i've looked at the kids on the adoption website as well and i just think

they are adorable!!!! i feel sooo bad for those kids who don't have homes!

i also know somewhat what they are going through to because the first 4 1/2

years of my life i was in an orphanage in taiwan. then i found a family kind

enough to want me even though they didn't know what was " wrong " with me. all

they new was that i had a lot of ortho problems and they were willing to

take that on. no one new how tall i was going to be and they found out i also

have a heart problem but that didnt' scare them away. these are the kinds of

parents i LOVE! parents who aren't afraid what they might be getting into

just because their child might be different from everyone else children i

think

the people who are updating the adoption website is doing a GREAT job!! now

if only we can find some more loving homes for these poor souls! i know when

i get older i will try to adopt at least one child into my family!

I apologize for any confusion that I may have caused regarding being a

foster parent. You are correct.....I was gushing as I always do when I visit

Did it ever occur to you that the message was sent to the wrong address? Or is

it such a bad thing to read that someone wants to adopt regardless if it deals

with you or not? I don't spent much time on this list but I do read the emails.

I also have the choice to not read the emails, if you are so offended by what

others say or think why in the world would you post a message like that? I'm

sure that you can guess you will get more feedback(negative) because you felt

the need to raise cain over something so petty.

I am not a dwarf, nor is my husband. Our youngest son is and we have 3

older boys that are AH. I read the emails from this list and many others for

advise and to be of help if I can.

There are many nice people here but if you don't show respect to others how do

you expect to get it in return? I can tell you that I have read a few of the

emails regarding the adoption committee and til yours I wasn't bothered. My

final thought to you is get off your high horse and get your head out of your

butt, the only bashing going on now is from you. Grow up!

Adoption is an important part of LPA. The Adoption committee is a vital

part of our non-profit services. I realize this isn't a [deleted] official

LPA list, but talking about LP children who need homes is appropriate.

If you do not want to get slammed then don't slam others. The Dwarfism

list is for dwarf related issues. If someoene wants to talk about

adoption, then so be it. Maybe we should all lighten up and try to get

along better.

Hey Bill was that really necessary? There was a person who was

obviously upset and you had to knock her even lower. Believe it or not

Jayme made some very good points. We as LPs have a tough enough time

out there and some come to this list to escape and then there are

people like you taking it all away from them. Do we have this to look

forward to when you are in the leadership of LPA? I hope not because

it could be the end of LPA as we know it now.

If anyone else did what you did they would be put on moderation, but

we know that won't happen.
