I'd like to join others in expressing my best wishes, thoughts and prayers for

Anu Trombino. I've know Mark since the first day he joined LPA as a baby

(although I was pretty young myself so don't remember much). He's a great guy

from a great family, and his wife and baby are truly angelic.

Hang in there, Mark. My family and I are thinking about you and yours...

Thank you Gail for posting Jill's message about Anu. What a shock.

Certainly thoughts and prayers are with Anu, Mark, Priya, their baby, and

families. I

first met Anu when she was a young teenager I think going to school a block

from my college campus - she was so self-assured - I was quite impressed with

this young woman. Then we became friends. She came to my " baby " shower before

I went to get Jani. And I was just one of many people who were thrilled when

she and Mark got together. It was great to see them at SF convention this

year with Priya. Ayway, this fellowship, caring, is what LPA is about. All

the political crap falls to the wayside and pales in comparison. And yes, I

believe each of our district directors and national officers truly cares about

the dwarf community and the future of the organization - but sometimes we lose

sight of the important things and get wrapped up in the scheming - I know

because I was in the boardroom for about a decade in one capacity or another -

and

I really liked that stuff. Then I got a kid and lost interest in that side

of the organization (and every other organization I'm involved in ...)

ANYWAY, Anu, we love you and are pulling for you. Let's put our numbers to

good use and see what 2000+ prayers (or meditations, warm fuzzy thoughts,

whatever you believe in) can do.

It was wonderful to see Anu, Mark and Priya at a friend's wedding in

September. Priya is a doll, and clearly has wonderful, proud parents. It's

such a shock to hear of the accident. What a sobering reminder of how

fragile the human body is and how suddenly things can change.

Our positive and hopeful thoughts are with the Trombino and Singh families

during this difficult time.

My family's best wishes to the Trombino Family. It appears that many people love

you Mark and Anu. I will say prayers for you, and I hope you are surrounded with

love and light to bring precious Anu home to her husband and beautiful baby.
