Guest guest
AZ LPA is excited to support one of our members who is also a web guru!!! Check out http://onmycity.com/ Craig Cameron (AH dad to achon cutie Diego) is the founder of both BuiltSmarter Web Designs http://builtsmarter.com/ and OnMyCity.com http://onmycity.com/ Over a year ago, Craig completely revamped our AZ LPA website http://azlpa.org/ and what is the most awesome is that we don't need a " webmaster " to make quick and easy changes to the site - it's the same as typing a word document on the computer - and we can have multiple permissions so that 1 single person doesn't get bogged down with everything... AZ LPA has also recently started a " closed " community on OnMyCity where members can log on and blog away (in the works)... The best thing about OnMyCity is that it also networks people with businesses, schools, sports, garage sales, etc... If you don't see your community - Craig would be extrememly happy to add it for you!!! Check out http://onmycity.com/ for yourself and you will quickly notice the difference between OnMyCity and MySpace... Sincerely - Gail Gail B. Blackburn... Subject: MySpace Hi... I haven't been keeping up with the list, but just saw that some people are talking about MySpace. Is there a dwarfism group there? My daughter is on myspace, and belongs to a few groups, such as her high school group, anime group, etc. If there's a dwarfism group, it could be a good thing. Thanks, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 16 Date: Tue, 11 Apr 2006 15:17:24 -0700 From: " Priore, Ann " <maryann.priore@...> Subject: RE: MySpace Have the kids stay away from this site! It is in the news quite often now as men have been picked up by trying to seduce teenagers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 17 Date: Tue, 11 Apr 2006 22:52:43 -0000 From: " Rose " <RMBJustice@...> Subject: Re: MySpace I think a better comment would be for parents to be aware of where your child goes on the internet. Nothing is 100% evil just as nothing is 100% good. Even the creators of MySpace.com list the minimum age as being 14. If a 10 year old signs up, is it the site's fault? Also, with as much negative publicity as MySpace.com is getting due to unscrupulous people, don't you think they want to change their image & therefore make the site safer? As Dan Kennedy says, " Caveat Surfer. " Rose ps -- nope, don't have a myspace.com site. nobody needs to be subjected to my every thought on the wonders of brussel sprouts or whatever passes through my head. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
