IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR HELP BELOW!

Hello to all of you leaders of LPA!

Some of us that are trying to put a very successful music group together and we

need your input. We are putting together a great and fun music group together

of BOTH the Medical Doctor Staff and any LP'ers that want to be a part of this

new idea. We have three very doctors that want to mix it up a bit and one LP

person so far. We need a keyboard player and drummer that are INDEED attending

the Milwaukee convention. We are only 40 some days shy of the convention and we

need anyone that would like to be part of this group. We have several guitar

players, but we need some other instruments to compliment the group! They plan

to play at several LPA weekly functons if they can locate people to make up the

band. Need you to research your district membership lists of any musically

inclined members of your district that we can contact! Please rattle your

resources and let us know quickly of who would be delighted to play some oldies

tunes such as The Beatles, Cougar Mellencamp, the song Sweet Home Alabama,

Jumpin' Jack Flash, Mustang Sally, etc.

We really need some assistance with this. Please email me quickly if you know

of any members that could pick up tunes quickly and play with the rest of the

group. This is bound to be a new crowd pleaser and could really start up

something new. The doctors used to do this in hotel lobbies, etc. in the old

days and now we want to make it a mixed group. The docs signed on so far are

REAL excited and ready to play with others. They have been practicing for a

couple of months! The doctors want to practice with any new potential members

late at night and around other scheduled events of the convention. They are

flexible in the practice schedule. They would like to do first session late

Sunday evening.

Please advise any thoughts. We are looking for a drummer named V from the

east coast, but we haven't located him yet by name, etc. If you know of him or

any other drummers or keyboard players attending this year, please pass the word

on to me.
