I honestly cannot believe the amount that this is being talked about

on here. Before I ever went to a LPA convention, I heard about far

worse things that go on at a convention, than the comparison's being

made to what Matt Roloff has done.

A lot of people are saying on here " The way Matt conducts himself has

a huge impact on the way the outside world perceives little

people " ... well what about those people who dress up in silly clothes

and make up doing Radio City? We are friends of many of those people,

and even though it may not be as bad as any other ridiculous role

people try to employ little people for, it still makes people laugh

at us, and put that stereotypical image against little people. I am

very good friends with people who do Radio City, I have nothing

against a man who has been arrested for driving under the influence

of alcohol.

When I step outside, I do not step out there thinking " Oh, I better

not go out today because another little person did something

humiliating " . I'd have to live a really sad life if it effected me

that much.

You've all got to move on from this, and think about what YOU can do

to better the LP community. This subject is just going to go around,

and around, but there's only two feelings to it - people either

aren't bothered about it, or they are. Yet you'll try different ways

to vent it.

It's understood, we get it. Now please move on. Some of the messages

on here have been very hypocritical, and very judgemental. I'd love

to see some of you say the things you have, to Matt's face.

It was wrong for Matt to drive drunk (if he did), it's wrong for

ANYONE to do this!! My Dad once worked with a group of little people,

and the police would wait almost EVERY day outside of the work place.

One day, they waited for my Dad to get in his car, followed him and

then stopped him...only to find out he had not been drinking any

alcohol whatsoever. But that would've been a great newspaper story if

he was under the influence. The police do work with the media - and

we mustn't forget this. They do WANT something bad to report about.

And how do you think we even got to hear about this news of Matt??

Think about it!

Check YOUR speedometers today, and make sure YOU don't go over the

limit...even by 1 mile an hour...if you do...well I'd think twice

about writing a message in Dwarfism.

Faye

(who feels she needs to write a caption coz everyone else does...and

is bored of hearing about Matt!) No offence Matt.

This list talks more about the bad things the good people do when alive than the

good things that people do when they're passed on. When someone who has had a

huge positive impact within the organization has passed on, we talk about this

person for what.....5 min. Now, we get this negativity from someone who has a

huge impact on the organization and he's still living....its been 3 days and

we're still talking about it....GET OVER IT!
