Guest guest Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 My friend Alana is looking for someone, so I told her I'd post her letter here, hoping it'd help her! ~**~ IF you have ANY INFORMARION what-so-ever, notify either of us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do not have dwarfism but I am trying to help a family who is trying to find thier birth sister who is affected by dwarfism.Two of the sisters have found each other and they are looking for a third. Her birth name is/was . She was born in Connecticut and was (according to the sisters) either adopted as they were or institutionalized. They believe she was born in or about 1977. OF course my first question is does this sound familiar to anyone??? I would also like to know if someone was institionalized where would they go in the 70's? I've done some research and found they some do have severe problems, however (I thought) most affected lead normal lives. Also, what local organisations are there in connecticut and is there anyone that you think may be able to help. Any advice/information you can provide will be greatly apprieciated.
