His friend's baby was diagnosed with Desbuquois Dysplasia. Has anyone ever heard of that? Do any of you out there in listserve land have it? Guest guest Posted November 23, 2004 Report Share Posted November 23, 2004 Hi , My grandson, Brenden (23 months) has a diagnosis of Desbuquois Syndrome. I went to the sites referenced in a's response and have bookmarked them for future reference but my first reaction was that they paint a very dismal picture. It is not necessarily so. Brenden is doing very well, although behind on reaching some milestones, even for LP kids, he is progressing well and is a very happy boy. Please have your friend give his friend my e-mail address as I would be more than happy to talk with him. bfbmrb@... I would like to know where they live and who made the diagnosis. Dr. Lachman in Cal. made Brenden's diagnosis. I have found a few other people in the US with this diagnosis, which is extremely rare. I just now tried to add a more recent photo of Brenden in the photo section however won't let me in right now (says error). there are some older pics and I will add an updated one when I can in case they want to have a look. One little girl with Desbuquois in Cal. looks just like Brenden, red hair and all. I will be waiting to hear.
