Matt,

Will a Community Outreach Forum be happening at the Convention for people

like myself who are interested in getting involved? If so could this be

mentioned at the regionals for people who aren't making the convention?

Helen-- The fist step to helping with this is to contact our VP of PR

Barbara- and offer to assist with the development of the handout

materials. One of the very important aspects of the CO program is to

make sure everybody is speaking the same message and reading from the

same play book so communities are getting a consistent message.

Please contact Barbara (tobubba@...) and ask her if you can help

in the development of the materials and curriculum.

Thanks for your productive interest.

clarification..

She is the District One's outreach coordinator

-Casey Hubelbank

District Director D1

District One does not have any chapters at the moment

although it may be petitioning for two at the 2005

conference as neither of the two forming chapters will

meet requirements by the 2004 conference.

Thanks, Ken, for the clarification about the conception of the outreach program.

I'm looking forward to wider implementation of the Community Outreach Program as

well...I'm just betting it comes from Rick's team as opposed to Matt's.

Just wanted to say that this seems like an excellent program and

that I'm glad to see LPA involved in community/activist programs,

and I hope LPA increases its activities in such areas.

Kudos to Barbara for getting this program up and running.
