After going through the web a bit more after the last email I sent out I found

this info, however, it's ONLY related to children under 18 (or disabled before

the age of 22/etc). Apparently this also falls under the same part B listing of

childhood illnesses (under the endocrine category) that is pretty much always

accepted for getting SSA/SSI. Far as I know, this is the only time that Dwarfism

is considered as a bonifide ailment for receiving benefits, and far as I can

tell, it's the only place the word is actually mentioned. As I said, I do plan

to call SSA Monday so hopefully they'll have more to tell me and I'll pass

whatever info I can along. Anyway, this is the listing I found ... okay, sure

it's for the kiddies, but hey, maybe it's a start that at some point they'll

recognise that just because you turn 18 doesn't mean you're suddenly going to be

5' tall eh? :P

109.10 Pituitary Dwarfism (With documented growth hormone deficiency). And

growth impairment as described under the criteria in 100.02B.

Sort of strikes me a bit funny that they have to specify GHD along with it.

Well duh! Pituitary dwarfs don't make enough GH in the first place which is

exactly why we are pituitary dwarfs lol! Ah well, that's the gov't clarification

process for ya I reckon!

I didn't have time to write a short letter,

so I wrote a long one instead.
