Guest guest
Well, my husband had his surgery on Monday. He went in at 1:15 pm and didn't get done until 12:30 am. They put in rods from the shoulder blades down to his tailbone. They also went in and redid his decompression surgery that was done in 1997 because there was some mistakes made. He is doing ok, but is real sore, and is out of it most of the time. His face is puffy from all the fluids they gave him. He lost about 3500 ml of blood during the surgery, but did put back all that he lost that they could and gave him units to make up the difference. He had this done at the Swedish Hospital in Denver, and had Dr. Frey as his neurosurgeon. He will be there about a month. After leaving Denver where yesterday was almost 80 degrees to driving home to South Dakota in a blizzard was quite strange. I'll let everyone know more about his progress when I know more.
