Guest guest Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 Karyna* I just upgraded from a Blackberry Storm 1 to a Storm 2..The BB1 kept freezing n would nee to remove the battery to re-set it, I just told Verizon that I physcially cannot do that 5x a day, so the Storm2 suposes to have that fixed but the 2's buttons are flush to the phone and are REALLY HARD TO PUSH! I was going to ask where everyone keeps their phones? Brett wouldn't be able to get it out of a bag (I don't think) I would like to try a side bag on the armrest to see if he can utilize it, just haven't made it to buy one yet. Any ideas would be great. He hates earpieces, so I am not sure that would work. Mine is always on my lap, and I've slept with it for about 5 years since its now how i wake somebody to turn me (I ring their phone and hang up) but am considering not keeping it in bed with me and swtching to a baby monitor type device because of all the new research about cancer/cells thats leaking out more (honestly, not my biggest scare!). I have the iPhone but find it much to slippery for my use, so I got the gel cover -keeps it gripped well on lap or surface and in hand. it can be heavy to life to ear at times, so I'll get it by speaker or call ack when my arms are in a better pos... I also text much more than talk, as AT & T is very pricey. I've been thinking of handmaking handy little holders to attach to our chair (or bag/pursh, so it wont fall to bottom but not be held so tight we cant get it out)... or even around ones neck if they wish to use speaker... This recession at thhe middle of my illness recovery has made me get creative, in many fun ways I would not have time for if working. I'm hoping to open an Etsy shop with some of my things - lots of keepsake type craft items, a custom fleece quilt I did, memory boxes, handpainted glass... and some other sewn items like these... in the meantime, I've been lucky enough to get some of Kimi's items over the years and they arre quite speacial, Id check out her shop. Ive been telling her to do this for awhile as its amazing little treasures... so now I'm inspired to share some with those not just near to me or make for myself! Its black leather and it has a strap on it that I hook thru my seatbelt. The phone just slides in and out. Its always right at lap level! Prior to this phone I used a 'phone thong' and it was tied to my chair, but this phone was too wide for it so I had to search for something else! I have a baby monitor, but my mom has become so accustom to the sounds, that sometimes if I call to her, she doesnt hear it. SO if I do that and get no response, I can call the house phone and it is a different type of sound to hear in the dead of night, so it wakes her up. I keep my phone OFF though at night and just turn it on if I need to. Too many folks think they need to call and leave me a message at 8am when I am SLEEPING!
