Guest guest
>It is frustrating because everything open is in management however experience wise I am not there, however I do feel I should be above entry level.< Difficult as it may be to accept, a lot of folks start at an entry level position in many businesses. Few, if any, walk into a 'management' position without due experience. It may happen more often when someone has already met the candidate previously and has some understanding of their background and work capacity. > If there is anyone out there in dwarfism group land who works in Travel/Tourism, Hotels, CVB's, something related, or even HR I would love to speak with you! Any advice you could give I would be so grateful!< I do commend you for your perseverance and wish you the best in your search for a position of your liking. > Lastly for those of you in high school or about to pick your major< And take advantage of EVERY/ANY opportunities offered for internships or some type of work experience in your chosen field. Even if it isn't a paid position or if it is a summer entry level position it does pump up your resume and allows companies to see that you have had some experience in your field. It may not drop you directly into a management position, but it boost your possibilities. It also allows you to judge if you are on the right track career wise.
