Guest guest
Here's my take on the show that I wrote down in my on line journal a few days ago. 9:54 pm - Let's Talk about Little People... I saw The Littlest Groom last night on FOX. It peeked my curiosity, so I had to see what was going to happen. I mean if it got too bad I could just turn off the TV, right? I came in expecting the worse, and by the end of the show I was like, " That wasn't so bad. " The young ladies on there were all beautiful; however unlike most dating reality shows they weren't given a chance to introduce themselves to the TV viewing audience. All we saw was a deck full of LP women and Glen the LP man mingling and then it was time for elimination from twelve to five. Ouch. Then it was the driving range (Glen is into golf) and then line dancing! It made me want to go out, but then I was brought back to reality of no money, no easy transportation, or anyone to go with me. Besides that... My favorite person on the has to be Kaaren who is SED and 36 years old. She was a bundle of energy. When the others were clawing after Glen during the dance lessons, She was off on her own just dancing away taking in the moment. One of the other show clips also showed her jumping up and down on the bed in the guest room. Two things came into my mind watching her. 1. whatever she has I need a bottle of that! and 2. I want to party with her someday. Too bad there were no diastrophics (that I was aware of which is really sad if I can't spot my own form of dwarfism) on the show, but like some one pointed out on the mailing list, the mansion didn't look like it was handicap accessible. I did see a couple of stools in the guest rooms however. After the show I had to call Kiddo and talk about it. I asked her what MiMi's reaction was, and Kiddo said that she gave no reaction. Next week's show should be interesting with the twist and all. Okay... Now for this morning. I was hoping that Kidd Kraddick and company would talk about it like they do nearly every reality show that has been aired. When do they finally talk about it? Ten minutes before ending their show! It just goes to show you they were not ready to talk about something like this still. Instead of really discussing about the show itself, they talked about how it made them feel. It was not good. They didn't like it. They say, " What's next? Retarded Bachelor? " That made me sick, but I didn't want to show it cause I was waiting to talk to them on the phone. Yep, they asked for callers, and they took three. The two ladies before me also hated it. They likened it to a freak show of deformed people. The h*ll? Anyway, I came on, told them I was a little person who had no problem watching it, the girls looked great, but it was (pardon the pun) too short. There should have been more episodes than just two. I stumbled on my words about the twist of the show, but my time was limited, but I personally thought it went well. Too bad no one is talking about in the Kidd Kraddick forum. They are more interested in the Survivor spoilers. >_> So that is my take on the subject for this week.
