Have you tried the Clapper? I have one on my bedroom light that is on the night

stand. If you mean overhead lights, I don't know if the Clapper is functional

for those.

I have a switch that sits on my bed and controls the light. We got it at

Radio Shack and maybe they would have what you are looking for.

I was wondering if there was such a light.

You turn it on & off with a remote control.

I found a camperss larnter that works with a remote control

but batteries are not cheap. Batteries seem to go dead just when you

need the light the most too.

Just asking you guys if you know of such a light for the bedroom.

There is a neat item called the clapper. It plugs into the wall and is

operated by clapping your hands one time. I was told that they work

great.

My ceiling fan/light in the living room has a remote control. I can

turn lights on and off or dim them and control the fan as well from

the couch!

Thank you Kathy, that's what I was thinking, but you beat me to it, lol. But for

a light, fan, TV, and now with the new ones having motion sensors, all you have

to do is wiggle your hand and it's on and off. Gads, having sex in a room with

one of those new clappers could be wild, lights flashing on and off, and your

neighbors would be thinking that you're having a party or something, lol.

When i was younger we had a remote control for our ceiling fan that

worked on the light also, im not sure where you would find them but

they do make a remote control that you can use on a regular ceiling

fan, i hope that helps, sorry i cant remember the name of it, you

might be able to search the internet for it

what a neat idea!!might just look online and see what u can find..i used the

clapper a long long time ago and it never worked right, u had to clap real hard,

sometimes if u barely clapped, it would work..they may have done some revisions

of it, i dont know, but its worth a shot!
