Guest guest
I too, was horrified upon seeing this, as my own childhood was spent living in violence and uncertainty...never knowing from one moment till the next when I would get beaten. There never were any reasons either. I could be doing nothing but TRYING to stay out of the way, and yet STILL get beaten. And beaten not with hands, but hard objects. I grew up BELIEVING I was being beaten because my parents were so unhappy I was a dwarf...and this is why I was never loved. As a little child, I had no other reason I could go on, you see. Thankfully, I had spunk and the blessing of many dear people in all the right places, at all the right times, so when I was sixteen, I could finally begin to find healing, acceptance, support, and love. Believe me, it was a long difficult road to overcome all those years of horror, and I still often battle insecurity, but I made it, all the same. That Hayden has such a dear and loving grandfather is a tremendous blessing. I hope and pray he will never have to know such horror again. At first, I was horrified this happened in my own state, but sadly, it happens everywhere. I have written Hayden's grandfather, offering my support and anything else I may do to help them. Thank you, Grady, for bringing this to our attention! Adelaide ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
