Guest guest
Hello everyone, I've got an exciting opportunity to share with you. The National Youth Leadership Network (NYLN) has recently called for submissions for their Winter newsletter, which will reach hundreds of people with and without disabilities. NYLN is a non-profit organization that works to promote advocacy and leadership development for youth with disabilities (ages 15-28) The next issue's theme will be EDUCATION and all submissions related to that topic are encouraged. We are especially interested in hearing from youth with their perspective on transitioning to college after experiencing the IEP process. I've attached the submission guidelines and pasted them below because I know I get my e-mails from this list in daily digest format and I miss out on attachments. So, all the information you need is below. Feel free to forward this along to any youths with disabilities you might know. This is not only an excellent way to find out more about NYLN through active participation in the Network but also it's a great way to build your resume and gain publication experience. If you have any questions or would like support during the writing process, feel free to contact me (Kara) at karasheridan@...
