Guest guest
Actually I think it was printed a couple of years ago, but I just found out about and read it. It's called " Lord Minimus " and is a biography of Hudson, a court dwarf during the reign of I of England. It was written by a Nick Page. Due to scanty actual information about Hudson himself the book is fleshed out by good information about the events and people of the time. I was very impressed by Nick Page's grasp of how , as a dwarf, might have felt about his own life and situation. He makes some very sensitive and accurate points about what it means to be a dwarf and how people treat you. I highly recommend it. I ordered it from commonreader.com. an excellent, rather high-brow book retailer. Their catalogs alone are entertaining reading. So many books, so little money...... -marty (the lady one) Marty -Merritts Office of Pienta, M.D.
