Guest guest
This is a classic case of 'one bad bean that spoiled the whole pot'. Actions such as this from individuals like her hurt us all, and unfortunately it will continue so long as there is an audience (Carmen Electra) that wants it, and is willing to pay money to entice naive young women such as her. I'm sure this girl never went out and did this on her own, unless of course, she's one of those 'Rent-A-Dwarf' under Danny Blacks 'company'. My guess is she was probably coerced by some sleazy Hollywood people who saw her at a bar and promised her fame and fortune if she did this gig. And naive as she was, she took it. I hope she gets help, as this type of self-exploitation is really just an obvious symptom of severe low self-esteem. It's the inability to recognize your true worth and potential, as well as the consequences of your actions. -erin A Very Fierce Opposer of 'Dwarf-Sploitation' > > I just saw the Carmen Electra show on MTV and a lp stripper came on and said her name was Mika Winkler. Guest guest
I'm sorry, but I probably should not have approved this message. While most of it is okay, there was an unprovoked personal attack at Danny Black. This is against list policy. is not alone, however. This is not the first email in recent weeks that has pushed the envelope of that policy. I've seen quite a few. From now on, I'm going to be stricter about people leveraging public personal attacks on other list members. Take it off list if you must flame someone. Thank you, Bill Bradford List Moderator Re: LP Stripper - Blatant Degredation This is a classic case of 'one bad bean that spoiled the whole pot'. Guest guest
From time to time this comes up on this list. Where I would not choose to strip for my own reasons, it seems that is up to the person involved. Yes. It may be that women shouldn't strip, but it seems that this is particularly wrong in some eyes because we are discussing a dwarf woman. As for blaming someone for enticing her, on supposition, we are all responsible for our own behavior and ultimately for our own choices. As a woman, I don't feel hurt that she chose to strip. It doesn't seem to matter whether she was a dwarf or not. ly it doesn't matter. Her choice is something she has to live with. It seems like it gets carried a bit too far. Not every human being will be respectable and wise; it is a fact of life. Look at Janet . I wonder if the black community is saying that what she did hurt them all...It was good for a laugh, and some people got offended, but it did little to the black movement or the advancement of rights for African American people I should think. And that is my opinion...not that anyone asked for it. :-) Willow Re: LP Stripper - Blatant Degredation This is a classic case of 'one bad bean that spoiled the whole pot'. Guest guest
I really wish you would have forwarded that email directly to the list moderator (me) instead of publicly posting it. I will warn this person that threatening another list member is cause to be banned. But other than that, everyone has a right to express their opinions in private to any other individual. Guest guest
Oh, come on why is it that when and if an LP does something " Out of the Loop " of what the majority feels is or is not apropriate, all of a sudden it's someone else's fault or the person needs help? Did it ever occur that possably that the person may just want to go out and strip? Maybe thats her thing. I have talked to this person severail times and trust me she is not stupid. I get the feeling that she is really not interested in being owned or enslaved by the LP world and honestly therefore its really " Her buseness " .
