I was reading a post yesterday that was talking about my brothers

unexspected death in November. The person writting the post thought

that had been ill, I wanted everyone to know that that was not

the case. was in the hospital as a result of falling down and

landing on his knee, breaking his leg. He was scheduled for surgery

the day after being brought to the hospital. While being put under

anesthesia the doctor was not able to intabate him in time. He had a

heart attack as a result of to little oxygen.

I like so many others out there sure wish that the medical

profession where better trained to handle the unique medical needs

of the lp community.

I know that there is always a lot of miss-information concerning

things like this so I wanted to let those who read this group to

know more of the facts surrounding Rice's death. Hopefully we

can all learn something that might help us latter on in life.
