I believe he is back home with relatives now, according to Jo.

I just received my District 8 Newsletter which included the following

information:

" On Jan. 22nd the LPA executive committee announced that the National Database

Office in Lubbock will be closed down in Feb. and the data base transferred to

the LPA National Development Office in Portland, Or. This means that

Pratt who has served as the administrator for the past several years will no

longer serve in that position. The Executive Board and the Pratt's were not able

to come to terms on a move and transfer to the Oregon Office. "

No further explanation was given but I assume there were many things that

factored into the decision such as Neil's job, moving out of the great state of

Texas (yes I'm a Texan), etc.

To imply that was fired or " let go " would be premature until more is

known.

Although I have only been a LPA member a little over a year I had the privilege

to meet at our regional meeting in Plano last Nov.

Remember when one door closes another opens.

As a semi-retired business owner I understand the need to have 1 consolidated

office for all LPA business, particularly as LPA reachs out to be a more

pro-active organization.

Careful, Bruce ... we can't have there be a perfectly logical explanation

for what happened to . It would ruin everything for those who like to

believe there are black helicopters everywhere. :-)
