I've had a guy asking me after seeing an lp couple with a baby at a conference,

" How do you people have sex? "

How typical! Sounds like at Disney when I get asked stuff like " What time is

the 3:00 parade? or Can you see the fireworks from in front of the castle? " and

the like. My and my co-workers just look at each other and grin, all of us

thinking the same thing - get with the programme people sheesh!

Really though ... I think the dumbest question I've been asked so far though

is about my kids. I was at a chinese restaurant and all through dinner my kids

saying " momma " about this and that. One of the people sitting next to us came up

to me when I was outside smoking and asked if they were my sisters. Uggg!!!

" Yeah sure they're my sisters, that's why they call me mum you git, " was what I

really wanted to respond in a sweetly sarcastic manner, but I was nice and just

laughed and said nope, they're my daughters, really and truly.

Ah well, what can you do, take the odd with the normal I reckon eh? :P

I was in a parking lot of a local department store years ago and a young man

(teens-early 20s) asked me " Have you always been like that? "

I was shocked by the stupidity and answered " yes " but afterwards

thought....I should have said, " Nah, I woke up one day and thought it would

be soo cool to shrink "

I work at a Gap in my small college town of Auburn and every year

they do trick-or-treat in the street... so as a participating store

I was selected to stand outside and hand out candy this year. Some

boys about 12 or 13 came up to me and said " Is that your costume? " I

replied " Yes! " " Amazing, huh? It was so hard to find. " While no this

probably wasn't the most sympathetic answer, it was all my co-

workers and the other parents around could do not to laugh. I have

had some other stupid ones, like were you born like that " No, I was

born six feet tall... amazing what happens if you don't eat veggies "

and so on.......

Maybe this isn't particularly stupid (or it might be!) but assumptive?

I was in my town of about 50,000 with my granddaughter and a stranger ran up to

us and excitedly said " Ohhhhh I know her dad! "

I replied, " You know Wayne ___? "

She looked a bit confused and said " No but I know Bob. "

Bob is a pretty good friend of ours (from Church and my PC tech) and as far as

I know he and his 5 year old son is the only dwarfs other than in the

area!

of course giggled at the idea that anyone might think that Bob might be

her daddy!

Cheers

I have been asked by a few tall guys I know if LP men

have um, average size privates. A. Why do tall guys

need to know, B. I am so not the expert on that one!

Also the " do you know how short you are? " question.

" It's annoying when people say " Is it difficult

being so short? " and I usually respond saying

" I've been this way all my life and I'm used to

it. I don't know any other way to live my life! "

Reminds me of a story Liza Minnelli told. She

was asked what it was like to have Judy Garland

as a mother and she replied.. " She was just my

mother! "

" What is IS! " Right?
