Why even inquirer about a magazine with no credibility ? As you stated, that

magazine is a rag people use to line their bird cages with and people who

actually believe anything in them are not people who have any intelligence.

Who cares what it said ? This just opens up a topic of gossipy talk which

doesn't do anyone any good, especially not Meredith or 's friends. Have

respect for them.

's death was tragic indeed.

It's a damn shame that a Rag such as The Enquirer is exploiting his

death.

Out of respect for 's family I understand why terms and

specifics are not being discussed. Hopefully one-day, LPA will

acknowledge that there are LP's that suffer from tremendous

internal pain and depression as any disabled person, minority or

averaged sized person can.

From tragedy can come great understanding. Pain and suffering is

not always worn on someone's sleeve.

It would be far more realistic if we discussed depression and

personal issues openly too, rather than the press covering LPA

conferences as a Dwarves gone wild party zone. Then when someone does

need us there's an outlet they can turn to.

Hello all,

I don't think people are disrespecting or

Meredith by discussing this. I too would like to know

what it said, not because of any bad motives but to

see how much they screwed up. I think when one of us

dies we do want to protect our own. It bothers me that

you can go on the internet and look up and it

talks about what happened. I absolutely hate that

invasion of privacy especially in a matter such as

this. I too hope the magazine and all the different

sites wrote in his favor and had discression instead

of making a mockery.

I had a friend in highschool who after a two year

battle died at 17. It hit our school very hard and

during the funeral I saw journalists present (she was

a basketball star), it just absolutely infuriated me.

I think most of us understand the delicate situation

this is.

I wasn't disrespecting at all on this, it's out there on the shelves so

the disrespect is on their part for printing whatever they did about him and the

family. And I totally agree with Tony, it doesn't matter if you're an AH or an

LP, depression can strike anyone at anytime, and I know because I've been down

that road myself. Back when I was 17 I had my run in with a suicide attempt,

ended up hospitalised, and when I got back to school I was never treated the

same way again. Fact is though that anyone out there who reads this article is

going to have their opinions and could possibly ask any of us if what was

printed about him is true or not, so I think it's up to us to make sure that

facts are seperated from fiction best as possible. I didn't mean to open a can

of worms or anything by asking about the article, sorry if anyone felt that way.

I just felt a bit sickened by how society on the whole has to glamourise and

embellish tragic events for public consumption

was all. :(
