Guest guest Posted September 1, 2004 Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 I don't know if anyone has posted information on the hurricane, but it looks like it is going to hit Vero Beach which is about one hour north of Palm Beach County. We will experience hurricane winds and much devastation and damage. My work place and schools are expected to be closed tomorrow through Tuesday. This hurricane is bigger than '92. Needless to say we (my family) are quite scared. Please say prayers that it turns completely north and avoids the US and for our group South Florida Minigators and all the other residents on the southeast coast of Florida. If Frances should take an abrupt turn like Charley did we would be hit directly in Palm Beach County. Another model (path) predicted is north up the coast of Florida if the high pressure ridge should weaken. We could feel the effects as early as Friday evening to early Saturday morning (2 am). I am seriously thinking about moving as I don't think I can handle going through another hurricane. If possible I will try to keep you all posted.
