Guest guest
Most health insurances do cover power chairs and scooters. The key is to find an insurance that has manageable amount of " Durable Medical Equipment " . My health insurance will cover $3,500 for most durable medical equipment for each year. Also ask your doctor who would be to prescribing this to find a vendor who will accept your health insurance. Medicare (Medicaid in my state, which varies from state to state) will pay if it's needed medically and once every 4 years. But you also have to fit certain criteria, which they would be able to tell you. If you need more information, feel free to ask. a > > My husband and I are trying to revamp our health insurance and are wondering > if there are any insurance carriers who cover electric wheelchairs/scooters? > If so, then I can change my coverage (which can ultimately help my paycheck > :-) ), but if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly > appreciate it!
