Guest guest Posted December 16, 2003 Report Share Posted December 16, 2003 Who would have thought that legislation passagethat allows research that could allow humans to walk , see and live better would be offensive to anyone with dwarfism? I'm continually amazed at the conservative billowing and preaching on this list by one of the most overlooked minority groups on the planet--us -- DWARVES. From years ago when people were attacking Laurie Benz, to nude art forms in a gallery setting to stem cell research with discarded embryos? We are minorities folks and much of the conservative doctrine in this country works against US. It's the republicans that want to water down the ADA laws. It's the republicans that are watering down health care subsidies. Whether it's same sex rights, racial minorities, illegal hiring practices or any other minority based concern, I can't for the life of me understand the conservative under current in this group or LPA Inc?
