Guest guest
Oh Sue! I had fun just reading your post! Please hug Tim for Ted and I and give him the biggest birthday smooch you can! Sounds like a blast! I hope he has a wonderful 9th year! I just looked at his picture you have in the files yesterday! He is so adorable at his table or desk doing his paper work! Yes, where does the time go! Gail & Ted---Cleveland, O Birthday boy >Hi all, Tim is 9 tomorrow, where does the time go?!! I first joined this list when he was 2 and a half, seems like yesterday! The cake is bought and delivered to the church for his party, the lights are up and appear to work but its hard to tell in day light, the smoke machine is raring to go! The disc jockey (a friend) is all excited to be playing with electronic machinery and Tim is totally hyper in anticipation of it all! In a couple of hours 30 or so 6-9 year olds will be trooping into the church hall for a 2 hour bop in Tims honour, lots of sugar and fatty snacks, wind them up and send them home! Tomorrow Tim is taking part in a special olympics gymnastics competition, he is doing level 1 floor (boys) and the vault, he stands a good chance of a medal at his floor, less at the vault, but he is so excited at the thought of the competition. I'll be glad when monday comes!!! > >sue wong > > >

Guest guest
Happy Birthday to -wow how time flies. I remember when I first joined back in 1998, you referred to him as Chuckie (lovingly, of course). LOL So much progress he made. It was scared because Nic had/has many of the same things going on as . It's reassuring to know that change can be made. There are times when I can refer to Nic as Chuckie too (or should I say 2).. Iwent through our photos recently and even went as far as buying a bunch of scrapbooking stuff, But I have no idea where to start. A friend recently gave me the name of someone local who gives classes on scrapbooking. I hope he gets everything he asks for . Tell him Happy birthday from us! Guest guest
Hi Di - Chucky still lives here at times...lol. You know, I never posted the really bad stuff because I didn't want to scare others. Things were so bad a few years ago that he qualified for the inpatient nuerobehavioral unit at KKI (3 month program). Thankfully, there was a long waiting list and our insurance never did respond. We found the " magic " pill so to speak that allowed him to decrease his impulses when angry or overwhelmed. This also disqualified him for the NBU program. I have always believed that will become a fine gentleman one day. I've hung onto that hope and I see signs he's getting there all the time. As hard as it's been for us, I hope that someone else may be benefiting from our struggles, joys and progress - not to mention the fact about balancing it all can happen. Faith goes a long long way!! About the collage- the only thing we purchased were the frames ($59. each at s) and the special tape (that scrapebookers use). Tim picked a center picture and then pictures for the corners. The rest came together - he cut and trimmed many of the pictures. It took him 2 hours to complete one. I'm not sure where we will actually mount these - maybe the hallway or downstairs in the family room. Hey - I still have the Upsndowns album from many years ago!! Maybe I can do another one this year.
