My mom swears by Born shoes. She's diabetic and has to have really

good shoes. She just loves her Borns. I have one pair, and they are

super comfy. They are expensive, though. :(

Regarding shoes, joints really benefit from good shoes with absorbent soles -- There are many shoe companies that make shoes like this -- and some of them are surprisingly nice looking. I like Dansko and Ecco but really the best thing to do is go to a shoe store that has a good selection of "comfortable" shoes and see which one is the most comfortable on your feet. Taryn Rose makes amazingly beautiful orthopedic friendly shoes which are wildly expensive (she is an orthopedic surgeon) -- Merrell's slip ons are quite comfortable and not very expensive.I am lucky enough to live in Los Angeles which has a store called the Well Heeled Sole which has wonderful cute comfortable shoes. On Feb 27, 2007, at 4:54 PM, mbwebman wrote:Don't Sweat it . I think within a month, I'll be off the patch too. Hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel.Best Regards,Alan B.>> Well, it's T minus one week till my RTKR.
