Strep B Hemolytic

My husband was just diagnosed with Strep B Hemolytic in his knee

replacement. He has had emergency surgery. He now is on a six week

course of intravenous antic biotics. He will have to stay on

antibiotics for the rest of his life. If this does not suppress the

infection, then he will have to have the prosthesis taken out and wait

6 to 8 weeks for a new one to be put in. Help! Is there anyone out

there who knows about this type of situation.

TIA,

Teri
