Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Just a quick note. My husband and I take the 10:00PM train to Paris (unless the flooding along the Po plain prevents the train from departing). We get there tomorrow and have one night together before I am admitted to hospital on Friday. Operation is set for Monday. All I can think of is what a lousy way to spend a week-end. Now I have to get back to work and write the last page of the textbook I'm working on. Although these last days have been hectic because of the work overload, the procrit shots, the i.v. iron, the blood tests, a case of cystitis, a trip to Venice, a son who returned from excavating a greco-roman city in Albania, I was left with little time to worry about the upcoming surgery. I did manage to have a rather nice weep a couple of days ago when I heard a mass being sung on the radio. My best friend gave me a little party (just us hens) - said there would be almost nothing to eat which translated into stuffed pumpkin, roast beef, a vegetable flan, two types of quiche, tossed salad, salad with arugola, pears and walunts, a chocolate-pear torte, French pastries, champagne and other wines. I am still stuffed. Here's hoping all goes well. We'll keep you informed - my email address will be the same so if anyone feels like writing, I'll get the message. Hope to be alive and kicking soon. My best to you all and my thanks to each of you for the separate and collective help you have given me. from Italy
Guest guest
My daughter's doctor practiced in Paris before Emory. I'd love to go to Paris. Not for surgery though! At least you've got a night with your hubby. Good luck, ! Sissi nitetrax@... Kids' Page http://home.isoa.net/~nitetrax/dillon.htm Re: on my way > > Hi Everybody, > > Just a quick note. Guest guest
Hi!! I am new to this section and have been receiving emails. I have a son whom is Autistic. I had just read your email about you going to a special ed lawyer. I am curious as to what happened. I do not mean to be so straight forward but I do get alot of information on Autism from everyones input on this site and I have read many of these emails and I feel like we are all in the same battle. And I pray for each and everyone of us and our families. Rhonda" E. Stoecker" <emilystoecker@...> wrote: Hi,I'm on my way to the special ed lawyer's office now.
