10 month checkup and unhappy

Hello everyone, it has been about 6 months since I posted so I know

most of you may not remember me. I am the lady truck driver who had

a THR on the RH last May. I have had issues since I started walking

after the first 6 weeks no weight bearing. My leg is now about 3/4

to 1 inch longer and the Dr. said NO lift till the 1 year mark for

starters. I have had no hip pain but lots of pain in the femur bone

and right knee. Both of these problems came on AFTER the surgery. I

hate my Ortho. He is so snooty and no bedside manner. When I went in

this time (it's been 7 months)I told him of the problems and he

pretty much hinted the leg pain is in my head and that the length of

the leg is so minor i am making a lot of fuss over nothing. He would

not address my pain issue nor offer any advice. I had a pointed

discussion with him and told him what I thought of him. He is the

type of Dr. that if all goes well he treats you good but if you have

issues he pretty much washes his hands of you I suppose for fear of

a suit. He took xrays of my back, knees, legs as he was trying to

blame it on artheritis but there was none and my spine is curved so

he told me I had scroliosis...duhhhh I've been walking around for 10

months lop-sided with one leg longer. I am so upset and I have had a

problem getting a second opinion as no Dr. wants to see me because

someone else did the surgery. Has anyone had this happen and also

has anyone every had a 2nd surgery on the same hip to correct a

problem? Any input would be welcome. I am still looking for a second

opinion Dr. and also talking to my attorney about this idiot. His

name is Dr. Gonzolas. He is at the University of Illinois Medical

Center in downtown Chicago. I have been back to work since last

August but boy it is a trial as my job has lots of walking everyday.

I am taking 2400 mg (1200X2) a day just to cut the pain level so I

can do my job. I sure need some cheering up. If I don't respond it

is because I only get on my laptop every few days if I get to a

truck stop where there is WiFi. You can also email me personally if

you have something important that I shouldn't miss. Sorry this is so
