Guest guest
Recently my husband had a work injury which resulted in him needing the attention of the orthopeadic surgeons. He developed secondary problems in other areas of the body. In the end he changed doctors so he would be treated as a whole person and not just a bone that was broken. This new doctor also practices chinese medicine. He has been using acupuncture and last time used cupping on my husbands shoulders. That night my hubby slept for over 5 hours straight. Has any one else tried these or any other " alternative " treatments with success? Hubby is suggesting I visit his new doctor. His attitude is that the traditional doctors don't seem to have any answers, maybe this guy can help. Another thing I am interested in is about depression and surgery. I am wondering if there are any total joint replacement people who have not had any post op depression in the first 6 months after surgery? Would be interested to hear.
