Guest guest Posted June 24, 2004 Report Share Posted June 24, 2004 I had LTHR in january this year - I can put on socks & shoes and tie the laces - I may be one of the lucky ones, but I certainly have a greater range of motion in my replaced joint than I did in the old one! It has to do with getting into a position that is likely to dislocate (pop out) your hip. Guest guest Posted June 26, 2004 Report Share Posted June 26, 2004 Hi y , I,m glad you told him that I hear so many people say that and I can't do that I have my shoes tied and just slip my foot in the shoes I can cut my toe nails I have two computer chairs I put my foot on the lower chair its not easy but I can do it .
