Hi guys,

A few weeks ago I wrote and asked if anyone had problems with some

pain in your thighs following your THR. Well I did go to the Dr.

last week for my annual check-up and asked him about it. And he

said yes that some people do feel this, it is normal. Afterall we

have a foreign body embedded into our bones. He said that more than

likely we feel it when the barometric pressure changes, (when the

weather is changing). So Guys, we have become walking

barometers !!!! Everything else was fine in the hip area. Now my

shoulders are rubbing bone on bone. GREAT !!! And they are trying

to ban Celebrex !!! Has anyone out there had shoulder replacement?

My Dr. wasn't very encouraging. He said the hip replacement was a

piece of cake compared to the shoulder replacement. Is he right?

Hi Doris,

I had a Hip and Knee replacement on my right side The hip I had four years and knee three years I think the Hip is a hard operation I feel this thing in me and it hurts alot My knee is a lot better I say the Knee was a piece of cake compare to the Hip My regular dr told me having the shoulder replacement is a hard operation and not to have it done I wish he would have said that about my Hip operation. Well you have a nice day.
