SAD is a medically diagnosed condition which can only be cured by regular doses of sunlight or equivalent. You can buy the special lights in any good medical supply store. It also helps to put full spectrum fluorescent tubes in to any rooms in your house that have that type of fitting. Both my son and my wife get great benefit from the lights, and in the case of my son it cured clinical depression.
