Guest guest Posted October 13, 2006 Report Share Posted October 13, 2006 the machine looks the same but it's just so darn noisy which I never expected as I've had several regular MRI's Most hospitals now have ordinary MRI machines but there is only one metal reduction in the state. MRI machines use magnets to do the job but I guess the metal reduction ones don't. It is also considerably more expensive since they're not common like regular MRI units. Hope this helps.
