Hi group!

I had a hip replacement ® done in 1993, a knee replacement (L) done

in 2002, and a broken hip/shattered thigh bone (L) repaired in 2003.

The surgeries went wonderfully well, and I recuperated without

incident. The doctor had to shorten my left leg to repair the

break. I wear a corrective shoe to compensate for the difference in

length (about 1 inch). Now I walk terribly. I have a tendency to

plod along like enstein! I do daily strengthening exercises, but

I see no improvement in my walking. I depend on a walker or quad

cane to help me. Can anyone offer any suggestions? My doctor tells

me to continue doing the exercises. I am terribly frustrated!!!!!!!!
