I had both of my hips replaced in 2001 (Left in 1/01 and right in 7/01). The LTHR is absolutely terrific.....wish the same were true of the RTHR. I had pain in my lower back on the right side from the beginning and recently the pain has extended to the groin area. I read where people are able to walk 2 and 3 miles at a time but I can't walk more than a block or 2 without pain in the groin area followed by a distinguished limp. Really noticed it at Lake Tahoe recently and others were surprised I had the limitations. Have been back to the ortho doc 2 times but he insists the hips look good and it is my back. Anyone have any experience or thoughts?

Thanks,

Sally
