I notice a lot of people getting the resurfacing hip operation and its

great that the recent ones are doing so well; what exactly is

resurfacing....is it like sanding down the joint or something?

Wow--how did your husband get his surgery so fast and with whom? I

assume you are in Canada, by your e-mail address? Canada can be

difficult to find someone to do it without waiting aeons. Do hope all

goes well for him. Do let us know.

resurfacing

Dear Group,

I just wanted to pop my head in and thank you for leading me to the

surfacehippy group. After reading many letters and several websites

about

resurfacing, my husband is scheduled for surgery in about 2 weeks.

This feels like it will be more the outcome he is hoping for without

preventing

the option for a total hip, if needed, later.

Again, thanks for the tip off. I had read about this a couple of years

ago but

then forgot it.
