Um.....I think you mean Gait, which means the way you walk. I'm wondering what your gait looked like before surgery.....probably pretty abnormal. In other words, your musculo/skeletal/neurological systems might not have a working pattern established yet....without knowing what your gait deviations are, though, it would be pretty hard for anyone here to try to tell you what to do.

ThankYou ! I was born with flat femurs and the dr. said it would take some time but Iam ready to get mt life back mybe Iam going too fast?

My conditon comes from the balls of the hips were flat and with time it wore my cartilge out.

I think Al meant he was looking for some people who were in the same situation and how long it took, what they did, etc. I don't think he's looking for specific "Here's what you should do" from anyone. Lighten up. LOL...scottyzpt@... wrote:

If you wish. but since this is the sort of thing I deal with, I thought it might be worthwhile to give a real answer. You wouldn't believe how light I can be when its written as something less serious. It appeared to me that he was asking about something a therapist had told him

Right. One of the main things I do is Gait analysis and Gait training.
